Weather changes after you check it. Alerts tell you when conditions turn flyable, instead of you opening the app on the off-chance.
Set up alerts →Any pilot can switch on a single notification, sent on Friday, naming the best flying window across the coming weekend for their area. It needs no account, it is off until you turn it on, and it is one notification a week rather than a stream of them.
Plus and Pro replace that with alerts you configure yourself: up to three locations, your own time window and active days, and a daily conditions summary at an hour you choose. Every alert is scored against your drone's thresholds, not a generic forecast.
Both are opt-in and can be switched off from Settings at any time. Switching the weekly window off removes the record it needs to send you anything.
