DJI's current top-of-line Mini series model, released September 2025 with a full 1-inch sensor and LiDAR-assisted obstacle sensing, replacing the Mini 4 Pro as the range-topper.
Check today's conditions for the DJI Mini 5 Pro →| Caution above | Do Not Fly above | |
|---|---|---|
| Sustained wind | 33 km/h (21 mph) | 43 km/h (27 mph) |
| Gusts | 36 km/h (22 mph) | 43 km/h (27 mph) |
The bigger sensor and longer flight time are the headline upgrades, but wind resistance improved meaningfully too — it handles a stronger gust than the Mini 4 Pro it replaced. That's still not the same as being immune to wind, so checking the exact thresholds before you fly matters just as much here as on any Mini-class drone.
